Anna Heche and Anne Lockhart
Anne Celeste Heche (born in 1939) was an American actress who performed a variety of characters on television, in movies as well as the stage. Her awards include a Daytime Emmy Award, a National Board of Review Award, and many others. Anne Celeste Heche, born May 25, 1969 in New York City, died August 11, 2022 in Los Angeles is an American actress. Her first fame was for her role as twins Vicky Hudson (left) and Marley Love (right), in the show Another World (1987-1991). This role won her two Soap Opera Digest Awards, as well as a Daytime Emmy Award. The late 1990s saw her gain prominence due to her roles in the crime-drama films Donnie Brasco and Volcano, the horror film I Know What You Did Yesterday Summer as well as the comedy about politics Wag the Dog. Anne Lockhart, born Anne Kathleen Maloney in September 1953, is an American actress. She was best known as Lieutenant Sheba on the TV show Battlestar Galactica ( 1978-1979). She is the granddaughter and daughter of actor Gene Lockhart. Lockhart was very young when her career began. She played her first part in the age of four in T is for Tumbleweed. The short film that dealt with a subject matter was nominated to win an academy award. Lockhart would be in the film along with her mother so she would learn about the nuances of business. Lockhart also appeared in a few episodes of Lassie. Dora in Jory in 1973 was her debut film. The Sixth Sense was a TV show that ran from 1972. When she was 18, she played Joan Crawford, Joan's daughter. Joan was the final actress in the series to be featured on The Sixth Sense. Anne declined Laurie Strode's role in John Carpenter's Halloween, in 1978. Jaime Lee Curtis later took on the role. Mr. Carpenter says that he was interested in her playing the character however she decided to turn her back. Anne states that she doesn't recall being contacted or offered the part from John Carpenter. Maybe one of her agents decided to decline the job on her behalf, without ever informing her. Her initial choice was made for the part by Glen Larson who sent her an initial script for the role on the 1978 television series Battlestar Galactica. The role was initially rejected since the character wasn't powerful. Glen wrote an entirely different character to play Sheba that was more powerful. The Living Legend was accepted following her reading of the original 25 page script. The show ran for one season. She starred with Desi Arnaz Jr. (son of Desi Arnaz and Lucille Ball) Melanie Griffith and Robert Carradine in the movie Joyride (1977) and also co-starred along with Michael Moriarty in the horror movie The Dark Tower (1987).
