Ava August
Ava August, then 14 was performing in front of an SOLD-OUT crowd of 30,000 spectators who gathered at Staples Center before the Los Angeles Kings hockey match. Ava's appearances on her team the Los Angeles Dodgers (professional baseball team) and L.A. Galaxy (professional soccer team) had to be cancelled because of COVID-19. Ava August was 15 years old. Ava August also became the youngest to ever perform and appear on American Idol season 19. Ava August won the GOLDEN Tickets during the Audition Round. Then the Genre, Showstoppers, Duets, Celebrity/Solo and Top 16 rounds were held. Ava was chosen to be in the TOP 10 by the American public. Ava August performed two originals for American Idol, Neighbor boy and Ghost of You. Ava August also sang an amazing duet with internationally recognized celebrity Josh Groban. Ava August was also the first to release Daybreak, a critically acclaimed song when she was just 15. The song was supported by her first musical video. Daybreak played with the tropical Surf Hour on KX FM 93.5FM, 11/01/20. On 11/29/20, Daybreak was broadcast in the morning on 88.5 FM LA/OC prior to 11M listeners were in Southern California.
