DanicaDanica Mae McKellar (American actress educator, maths writer, and education advocate) is a math writer and mathematics writer. McKellar was the character Winnie Cooper in the tv series The Wonder Years from 1988 until 1993. She has since 2010, she has voiced Miss Martian in the animated superhero series Young Justice. McKellar was also cast in Project Mc2 on Netflix in 2015. McKellar is a regular character in numerous Hallmark Channel television films. Following Janet Waldo's death in 2016, McKellar is currently acting as Judy Jetson on The Jetsons. In in addition to her acting roles McKellar wrote six non-fiction books related to mathematics. They include Math Doesn't Sucker, Kiss My Math, Hot X: Algebra Exposed, Girls Get Curves: Geometry Takes Shape that encourage middle-school and high-school girls to gain confidence and be successful in math, Goodnight, Numbers, and Don't Open This Math Book
